Photos from our 2008 trip through Norway. These are from Bergen Aquarium. Located awkwardly in the town center where no non-locals can navigate by car, you might find this only when sufficiently prepared. At the very least you would need Bergen's traditional outfit equipped. A rain coat.
On a more positive side note, the aquarium was massive. They final room they had installed included some of the biggest and most populous fish tanks I have ever seen. One contained an entire shoal of mackerel, unfortunately hard to photograph, but for the rest, you'll see.
The king of all prawns. Although not really a king prawn, but it's standing proudly on the highest area in his tank like blue blood was coursing through his veins.
Seahorse with treacherous crustacean in blue and what seems like a red bar for eyes. If you were his size, you'd be his bitch.
This one is curious. Amazing straight divide of colors, possibly evolved to hide in coral reefs. I am very happy with this shot.
Steinbitt, loosely translates to Stonebite or sometimes as wolf-fish, but it seems to be quite unique from extensive wikipediaing. These freaks of the sea you do not want to mess with.
