Photos from our 2008 trip through Norway. This is entirely from Geiranger from different altitudes. There's a 20 minute zigzaggy descent to get to the town center (which is entirely anticlimactic unless perhaps you are going to see the seven sisters waterfall), but astonishingly you get a perfect view from the whole thing from a mountain overlooking the whole road about 1500 meters up. It was a pretty scary road, but it was an awesome place to be.

On the way up to Dalsnibba, 1000 meter above the fjord at the momenent. Another lake found up and behind Geiranger pictured.
Zoomed. The less fortunate Japanese tourist bus that arrived 15 minutes after us got hard rain and fog for their view, so I was relatively happy with this.
The road just below at the point just before you get to turn up to this mountain. It is almost exactly 500 meters down.
