It appears that any explicit plans I make for my spare time is doomed to fail. For the third year in a row, I was to make up for another great game that I'd missed, this time Final Fantasy 7. Planescape and Fallout earlier drove me into the ground earlier solely because of their inadequate graphics, and I don't know what convinced me that this would be any different. Long story short, I ended up with Dungeon Siege 2 with my brother instead, confirming yet again how predictable my proclivities are; i.e. the need for mindless hack and slash always prevails.
Additionally, my new quake 3 movie project seems to have run into a snag as well; my obtained producer had his computer fucked by a metaphorical sledgehammer. Or, at any rate, that's what he claims, slightly paraphrased. I did manage to cut through a couple hundred demos in a few days - just in time for the new cpma - and I guess eventually the movie, when it's finished, will stand as a testament to how unpredictably that rl knockback in cpma could behave. However, that may take some time now.
