"Keanu Reeves look" (c) Stian, re-established.
Will be leaving for a party at Duane's in less than an hour. As usual, I don't know if or what they have planned for tonight, but it's always fun there anyway. He's probably invited the rest of the asdf guys and some from grid, it'll be fun. I'll try to take some pictures.
Probably not going to drink though, I value the ability to get my self home in a healthy condition rather than an hour walk accompanied with intense thinking of all the crazy stuff I said. Besides, I'm never the only one not drinking there, so I don't have to feel bad about it. I should get used to waking up one hour earlier too, since two o' clock will be a blast, literary.
Being out of work, the 'credits' I had stashed in my room are now running so low that the same amount in a computergame would grant me various restarts as I would only afford fighting gloves to aid me in the battle against 100+ guys.
Dan made some changes at
px last month, resulting in me being forced on a two month vacation. At that time I did the seemingly degrading act of asking my previous boss at the grocery store if they had some free shifts. Was lucky and got a month worth of living due to one guy being sick, but that was then. Have to ask around again I guess, but I'll try to manage until I'm back from
The Gathering.

Recommended for those with a fucked up sense of humor.

"Your cellphone can no longer recieve SMS messages." -Telenor
Thought this was a good idea a week ago, when I filled in a request to Telenor. What fucks up everything though, is that the people sending me messages don't get any notification of my inaccessibility.
Anyway, for not letting the whole experience go to waste, I'll keep my cell blocked for a week, hopefully changing the abusers habits abit.
Update: Nah, this is too weird. Removed the block (after 1 day).

Now that both my parents are spending their time almost exclusively at home or at vacation, I've been using the car driving to school almost every day. Now that's not something I'm particularly proud of, I feel I should be able to take the bus like most people, but It's undeniably a privilege I enjoy. Since the tour takes about 20 minutes, there is unquestionably a need for audile entertainment, but here, the radio has very little to offer.
There's five channels. #1 Seems to have either news or some lame talkshow that never seems to have any relation to anything, and it's apparently not even supposed to be funny. #2 Usually contains nothing. If I'm lucky though, I'm tuned in on one of the rare occasions where they play some classical that isn't too modern. They also air quite a few discussion programs where certain topics/comments sound very pseudointellectual. Though I still end up listening to them. #3, #4 & #5 Is basically the same, except for five, which instead of amazingly dull talk shows air commercials for the local stores you would wish you had never put your foot in. Oh and they share their ten-song hit playlist that only seem to update twice a month.
I also had to reprogram the radio buttons recently without the lcd display working, thanks to my dad who managed to cause a 2.9 cm round dent in the 3x8 cm display with the lower end of our Christmas tree three months ago. The combined level of accuracy and recklessness required for the above result is pretty fucking high, and he still haven't given me a satisfactory explanation on how exactly this masterpiece was preformed.
Anyway, if it wasn't for the cd player being unable to read my burned cds (even tried burning them at 1x), I wouldn't be ranting here. I'll probably invest in an iPod or something equivalent soon.

Left e114\urg\toa today, felt the playtime percentage was insufficient, and the upcoming days were looking even worse. Sunday could've turned out ok though, but I didn't want to waste the rest of the weekend to find out.
Also, it seems my threshold of lazyness is much higher than previously thought. Since there wasn't 'enough room' for my chair (it would've blocked the tv), I just left it in the car when I got there saturday. Ended up driving around with it for a whole(~) week.

A LAN with your friends is supposed to be a socially enjoying place. Instead, I get more and more agitated as the time passes. I'm seated in the sofa, where people usually sit when they eat, so the TV is of course placed right in my FOV, and each time a new clip\commercial starts my eyes naturally snap to it. My friends of course refuse to turn it off as they don't usually keep their computers in the living room, so they make up for it by just leaving the TV on. All the time.
Since I don't even have a TV in my room, I didn't really care that much at first, as I was seeing all the commercials and lousy shows for the first time, being able to laught at it and all, but now it seems even my threshold have been reached. My headset volume is currently only limited by the pain in my ears, but it still is unable to keep my attention on, well, even not on the music.
Toa and e114 plays daoc most of the time, a game I usually look at with disgust because I see how mmorpgs consume people. They don't even seem capable of yelling at each other properly because of the integrated and constantly monitored chat client. The fact that I always notice and get so irritated over such oral inefficiency, that a guest teacher in a class with such skills just would make me leave the room, really is like having another television on the right of me, making the full spectrum of disruptions unblockable.
Fortunately, I'm only left with myself and all the annoyances available here when we miss our third player to daoc or work, so the good time that comes with the creation of baldurs gate game cancels much of the annoyances out. Looking back at this day, the scale seem fucking unbalanced though.
Or maybe I'm just tired.

Chilling to radiohead as I let all the things I learned in physics today just part the brain. Hopefully it will leave some room though, as it inevitably has to get back in, probably about a week before the exam.
Some bugs with the site fixed yesterday, now everything works like a charm, except for the search enging which isn't implemented yet. But frankly, those unable to navigate through the posts on the site as it is now shouldn't be here in the first place. While on -that- subject; gave this url to some of my friends who, not unexpectedly, made various sarcastic remarks. Now I don't really care much about that as many men already seem to prefer using the word diary instead of weblog to somehow try to make me feel bad about doing this.
Politics currently rule the links-menu, as it was the only articles I recalled when I was up last night thinking of stuff to add. I don't usually go around talking about these things often, as people usually either go into denial mode when I argue, or they just don't care, non of which makes continuing a discussion very compelling. Anyway Monbiot is a great writer and the articles are thoroughly documented so if you got time, it's certainly worth it.

First of all this has to be said;
ivc you fucking own php%#?"! He's been working with the site for a week and been really patient with my constantly changing demands, so give it up for him all of you currently nonexisting readers :-)
I'm not going to write an essay in the first post about me, the site and the reasons for it cause it's just gonna sound like bs anyway. So yes, this is a we
blog and I don't have any particular reason for having one, so just accept it. Check out the
about page later.
