For a while back was the hard decision taken that our beloved dog and familymember should let go.Han had pain in hips and joints as well as the appetite was very poor. He was a sick old dog. Despite the problems, he was in very good spirits and will do all to please the good dog he had always been.
When I knew that our little joy spreader had "received his sentence" I had really bad conscience and walked around with a constant lump in my breast, a terrible feeling.Me and my brothers who do not live with our parents anymore decided to meet up all together even though we live on each edge of our country.
We were traveling from Ålesund, Bergen and Bodø to say goodbye.
Tango had been the family's mascot and pet for so many years that the thought of what would happen was very cruel. For us it was incredibly important to say goodbye and that it should happen in a dignified manner. If we had not taken action, it is likely that he would fade away from hunger and disease one night all alone.
He had now instead his loved ones around him and had said goodbye in a way that was dignified and peaceful sleep in while we were there for him.Although it was hard and very difficult, I am very happy that it happened this way June 5, 2010 because you deserve only the best.
Thanks for the trip Tango! it was a wonderful time we had together and we were all so very fond of you! Now I hope you run around in the eternal hunting-grounds as healthy as you once were and you know that we miss you lots and will never forget you!
